Oriol Coll is the Head of the High Risk Obstetrics Section at Maternal-fetal Medicine Department at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona since 2002 and Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was Fellow in Reproductive Immunology and Infectious Diseases from 1988 to 1990 at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He runs the Perinatal Infections Unit of the Department. He is advisor to the Ministry of Health, of the Spanish Society (SEGO) and of the WHO for perinatal HIV infection. Reviewer of several scientific international journals. Director of 2 doctoral thesis, he has published 61 scientific papers in international journals with impact factor.
