Jose Maria Martinez is Consultant at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department of the Hospital Clinic  Barcelona. He is responsible of the Fetal Cardiology Unit, and co-responsible of Multiple Pregnancy Unit, Malformative Diseases  and Fetal endoscopic surgery and therapy Program. He has an experience of over 5 years and 200 interventions in fetal surgery. Director of 3 doctoral thesis, he has published 61 peer reviewed papers in several international journals with impact factor. Scientific reviewer for the main scientific international and national journals in his specialty. He has participated as invited speaker at 163 workshops, conferences and congresses. PhD. in Medicine, he is also assistant professor  at the University of Barcelona.
